The Morihiro Blacksmith Factory was founded by the first Morihiro in 1958, and has been manufacturing and repairing agricultural cutlery in Yame City, Fukuoka Prefecture.
The second generation, Yasuaki Hira, was told by the first generation Morihiro that "Making farm equipment may not be enough to live on in the future.", and after graduating from high school, he trained in Sakai City, Osaka, the home of cutlery.
